The Short Answer
Quick answer: Inflact's viewer doesn't ask for your Instagram login, and a Latvian company, Wiseway SIA, runs the site. That makes it fine for a quick look at public profiles. Be careful with paid plans: they renew by themselves, and the pricing page rules out refunds once you confirm. For free public stories, try our anonymous story viewer.
I checked all of this on 30 October 2026.
Below is what the viewer promises, how it works, what it costs, who runs it, and what users report.
What I Checked
I didn't run profile lookups through Inflact for this post. Its site refused my script's requests, so I read archived copies of its pages in the Internet Archive instead.
- 1The viewer page, in a copy from May 2026.
- 2The pricing page and the privacy policy, in copies from October 2026.
- 3Inflact's own post about its 2021 name change.
- 4Its Trustpilot page, in a copy from February 2026.
- 5The public domain record, Google's search suggestions and Reddit.
Each source is public. Archived pages can lag behind the live site, so check prices on the live page before you pay.
What Inflact Is
Inflact is a set of Instagram tools, and the viewer is only one of them. The pricing page sells plans for a wider toolset, with influencer search and competitor tracking. Trustpilot files the company under Social Media Agency.
It used to have another name. In a July 2021 post, the company wrote that "the old Ingramer is now called Inflact."
The same post said logins, tariffs and subscriptions stayed the same, and ingramer.com sent visitors to the new site. So if you remember Ingramer, it's the same service under a new name.
What the Viewer Promises
The viewer page's title calls it a "Free Anon IG Viewer." Its main heading reads "Anonymous Instagram Viewer."
The page makes three headline promises.
- 1A "100% anonymous view."
- 2Use "Without account," so you never sign in to Instagram.
- 3A tool that "Tracks and saves stories."
It also says "only public content is available." The footer adds that Inflact isn't affiliated with Instagram and doesn't host any Instagram content.
How the Viewer Works
The page explains its method in four steps. You type a public username first.
Then, in the page's words, "One of our IG accounts opens the user's page." Next, "The service proxies all content to the browser." So Inflact's server fetches the posts and stories and passes them on to you.
You never touch Instagram yourself. Inflact's own Instagram accounts do the looking.
The page doesn't say how many accounts it runs. It also doesn't say what happens when Instagram limits one of them.
Will Anyone Know You Looked?
The person you look up won't see your name. You don't sign in, so your account can't land on their list of story viewers.
If a view shows up at all, it would come from the Inflact account that opened the page. That's my reading of the page's four steps. Inflact doesn't spell it out.
Inflact still sees you, though. Its privacy policy lists your IP address, browser, and the time and place of access among the data it collects by itself. So you're anonymous toward the account owner, not toward Inflact.
Can It Show Private Accounts?
The page says two different things.
The plan table on the viewer page says "Public accounts only." The text above it agrees that only public content is available.
Yet another line reads: "When using our private Instagram Viewer, you can fully engage with content regardless of platform's restrictions."
Trust the plan table, not the sales line. Instagram shows a private account's posts only to the followers it approves. No outside viewer gets past that, and a site that claims otherwise wants your money or your login.
Free Limits and Prices
The free tier is small. The viewer page offers "a free daily attempt without registration," and repeats it: "There is a free viewing attempt per day."
In May 2026, the viewer page also listed a Premium plan at $7.8 a month.
The main pricing page, in an October 2026 copy, shows three plans for the wider toolset.
- 1Free, at $0.
- 2Research, at $34 a month, or $285.60 paid once on the yearly option.
- 3Pro, at $59 a month, or $495.60 paid once on the yearly option.
The page says you "Save 30% on yearly plans." If one free look a day isn't enough, our guide to anonymous viewers that work covers free options.
Auto Rebilling and Refunds
This is the part to read twice. The pricing FAQ says your first payment subscribes you to "auto rebilling on a monthly basis." To avoid the next charge, you have to cancel before it.
Refunds are the second catch. The FAQ says that by clicking the "Confirm Membership" button, you agree the membership starts right away, and that you won't be able to withdraw from the contract and get a refund.
Trustpilot reviews show how that plays out. One November 2025 reviewer said Inflact charged them four times. Inflact's reply pointed to auto rebilling.
So treat any paid plan as a subscription from day one.
How to Cancel Inflact
The pricing FAQ gives two routes. Both end at the same Unsubscribe button.
- 1Open the Dashboard, click the gear icon, then choose My plan and press Unsubscribe.
- 2Or open your Profile, choose My plan, then Manage Plan, and press Unsubscribe.
Take a screenshot of the confirmation. If a charge still appears later, that screenshot is your proof when you contact the company or your bank.
Cancel a few days before the renewal date, not on the day itself.
Who Runs Inflact
The privacy policy names the provider: Wiseway SIA, registration number 40203255185, at Avotu iela 23-3 in Riga, Latvia. SIA is the Latvian form of a limited company.
That's more than many viewer sites give. Plenty of them list an email address and nothing else.
I couldn't check the company in the Latvian register itself, because the register sites refused my requests. So the name and number above come from Inflact's own policy.
What the Privacy Policy Collects
When you register or buy, the policy says it collects these details.
- 1Name, phone number and email.
- 2Place of residence.
- 3Order content and order history.
- 4Card type, expiry date and the last four digits.
It says it doesn't store full card numbers, and a third party processor handles payments.
It also collects some data by itself: your IP address, cookie information, browser, the time and place of access, the page address and the page you came from. The policy says data can go to third parties such as couriers, telecom operators, the hosting provider and the email operator.
What the Viewer Page Loads
The viewer page loads more than the viewer. In the May 2026 copy, I found these outside scripts.
- 1Google Analytics, which counts visits.
- 2A Google Ads conversion tag, with enhanced conversions turned on.
- 3Google AdSense, which shows ads.
- 4A OneTrust cookie banner.
- 5Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check, on the login form.
Google's help page says enhanced conversions send hashed customer data, such as email addresses, from a site to Google. That helps an advertiser match sign ups to its ads.
The page sets Google's consent settings to "denied" by default and waits for the cookie banner. A comment in its code says that default is for "end-users in the EEA + UK." The copy doesn't show what visitors elsewhere get.
The privacy policy doesn't name any of these scripts. The words "Google" and "Facebook" don't appear in it at all. So read the policy as a minimum, not a full list.
What Trustpilot Reviews Say
In a February 2026 copy of its Trustpilot page, Inflact had a TrustScore of 3.9 from 648 reviews.
- 1Five stars came from 505 reviews.
- 2Four stars came from 68.
- 3Two or three stars came from 12.
- 4One star came from 63.
Inflact claimed the profile. Trustpilot showed that it replied to all nine negative reviews in its count, in about two days on average.
The viewer page shows a different figure. Its Trustpilot widget said "Excellent 4.2 of 5" from 641 reviews. Trustpilot's own page is the better source.
Common Complaints in Low Ratings
Most five star reviews praise the tracker, the profile analyzer and the viewer. The one star reviews cluster around money and downloads.
- 1Ads showing instead of the service, in February 2026.
- 2Repeated attempts to take money, in January 2026.
- 3Failed downloads, with three free images a day, in January 2026.
- 4A forced plan change that cost about 20% more, in December 2025.
- 5Four charges for one plan, in November 2025.
- 6Low quality downloads, in September 2025.
A three star review from October 2025 adds a different risk. Its writer said Instagram showed a "Suspected Automatic Behavior" warning on the first day they used Inflact's Promo feature. Inflact replied that it warns users Instagram may limit activity.
That warning came from a tool that acted on the reviewer's own account. The viewer doesn't need yours.
What Reddit and Google Show
I searched Reddit for Inflact on 30 October 2026 and found no relevant posts. So there's no track record from users there, good or bad.
Google's suggestions show what people want to know. On the same day, it suggested "is inflact safe," "is inflact legit," "is inflact free" and "is inflact anonymous."
This post answers all four. The FAQ below gives the short versions.
The Domain Record
The public domain record shows inflact.com was registered on 28 October 2020, through the registrar Reliable Software. It runs until 28 October 2032, and the record was last changed on 27 May 2025.
A long registration isn't proof of anything. Still, it fits a business that plans to stay.
That's a contrast with some viewer sites, whose addresses change hands or go dark. inflact.com dates from October 2020, months before the rename, and it still carries the same service.
How to Use Inflact More Safely
If you still want to use it, a few habits cut most of the risk.
- 1Use the free daily look before you pay for anything.
- 2Never enter your Instagram password into the viewer.
- 3Read any paid plan as a subscription that renews each month.
- 4Cancel through My plan a few days early, and keep the screenshot.
- 5Pay with a card you can block if a charge goes wrong.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Inflact safe to use?
For a quick look at public profiles, yes, as long as you never enter your Instagram login. The viewer doesn't ask for it. The risk sits in paid plans, which renew each month, and the pricing page rules out refunds once you confirm.
Is Inflact legit?
Yes. Its privacy policy names a registered Latvian company, Wiseway SIA, as the provider. It was called Ingramer until July 2021. A February 2026 copy of its Trustpilot page showed a TrustScore of 3.9 from 648 reviews.
Is Inflact free?
Partly. The viewer page offers one free viewing attempt per day without registration. Paid plans on the pricing page started at $34 a month in an October 2026 copy.
Is Inflact anonymous?
Toward the account you look up, yes. You don't sign in, and Inflact's own accounts open the page. Inflact itself still logs your IP address, browser and access time, according to its privacy policy.
Can Inflact view private Instagram accounts?
No. Its plan table says "Public accounts only," even though one line on the page mentions a "private Instagram Viewer." Our guide to private and public accounts explains why no viewer can.
How do I cancel an Inflact subscription?
Open the Dashboard, click the gear icon, choose My plan and press Unsubscribe. The pricing FAQ also gives a second route through your Profile, My plan and Manage Plan.
