MyStalk, the old Instagram viewer, now sends visitors to a slot gambling page. Here's when mystalk.net changed hands, the risks, and what to use instead.

The Short Answer

Quick answer: MyStalk, the old anonymous Instagram viewer at mystalk.net, is gone. Today the address passes you through five redirects and lands on an Indonesian slot gambling page. Don't sign up or pay there. For public stories, use a working viewer such as our anonymous story viewer.

I checked that redirect chain on 30 October 2026.

Below is what MyStalk used to be, when the address changed hands, and what to use now.

What I Checked

I didn't run any profile lookups for this post, because there's no viewer left to test. Instead, I traced the address itself.

  1. 1Where mystalk.net sends a visitor today, hop by hop.
  2. 2Old copies of the site in the Internet Archive.
  3. 3The public domain record for mystalk.net.
  4. 4Google's search suggestions for the name.
  5. 5Reddit posts that mention the site.

Each step is public. You can repeat all of it in a few minutes.

What MyStalk Used to Be

MyStalk was a web viewer for Instagram. An Internet Archive copy from June 2022 shows its title: "instagram web viewer, search user, watch profiles, stories viewer anonymously."

Its home page said: "View the Instagram closely. Discover tags, videos, stories and photos with Instagram viewer."

The page had a search box, a list of popular tags and a "Popular Now" feed. It also had its own sign in form, with an email and a password, plus a "Login Anonymously" button. The form asked for an email, not an Instagram username.

When the Domain Changed Hands

The Internet Archive holds copies of mystalk.net going back to 2011. Yet the public domain record dates the current registration to 8 September 2023, through the registrar NameBright.

That gap matters. It means the old registration ended, and a new one started in September 2023.

The archive shows what came next. Its copy from 21 September 2023 isn't a viewer at all. It's an Indonesian page titled "Slot Gacor TOKYO77," with menu links for live casino, slots, poker and lottery games.

So within two weeks of the new registration, the old viewer's address showed a gambling page.

Where mystalk.net Sends You Today

On 30 October 2026, the address didn't show the gambling page directly. It sent visitors through a chain of permanent redirects instead.

  1. 1mystalk.net sent me to a domain named after a confectionery.
  2. 2That one sent me to a second domain.
  3. 3Next came a domain named like an equipment company.
  4. 4Then came a domain named after a spa.
  5. 5Finally, it moved to the www version of the spa domain, over plain http.

The last page carries the title "TOKYO77 Agen Terpercaya Penyedia Link Slot Gacor." It's written in Indonesian and it advertises online slots. The final hop also drops the secure https connection.

Why a Dead Viewer Ends Up Selling Slots

Old addresses still get visits. People have them saved, other sites link to them, and search engines remember them.

Google has a name for buying one of these addresses to cash in on that. Its spam policies describe "expired domain abuse": an expired domain bought and reused "primarily to manipulate search rankings by hosting content that provides little to no value to users."

One of Google's own examples is casino content on a site that used to belong to an elementary school.

I can't see who bought mystalk.net or why. Still, a viewer address that turned into a slot page two weeks after a new registration fits that pattern closely.

Is mystalk.net Safe to Visit Now?

I wouldn't use it. I only read the pages with a script, so I can't say what they run in a browser. But the page at the end exists to sign people up for gambling.

  1. 1Don't create an account on the final page.
  2. 2Never deposit money or share card details.
  3. 3Skip any app or file it offers.
  4. 4Close the tab if a page asks to send you notifications.

None of that page has anything to do with Instagram. If a page asks for payment, close it.

If You Had a MyStalk Account

The old site asked for an email address and a password to sign up. Nothing public says what happened to those accounts when the domain changed hands.

So take one simple step. If you used the same password anywhere else, change it there.

You can't log in to the old MyStalk anymore, and you can't delete that account. Changing a reused password is the one part you control. If emails that mention MyStalk show up in that inbox, delete them without clicking any link.

Is MyStalk Coming Back?

There's no sign of it. The domain record shows the current registration runs until 8 September 2027, and it was last changed on 26 August 2026.

As long as someone keeps renewing it, the address stays out of reach of the people who built the viewer.

If a site with the MyStalk name appears on another address, treat it as a stranger. Nothing public ties a new address to the old viewer.

What to Use Instead

For public stories and posts, any working web viewer covers what MyStalk did. You type a username and see what a public account shares.

  1. 1The viewer linked in the short answer shows public stories without an Instagram login.
  2. 2Our list of viewers that still work covers other options.
  3. 3For a private account, the only route is to follow it and wait for approval.

Before you pick one, check three things. It works without your login, it says it shows public accounts only, and it doesn't push an app.

No viewer can show a private account. That was true of MyStalk too.

How to Spot a Dead Viewer Before You Click

Viewer sites close, and an old address doesn't always stay empty. A few quick checks save you a bad click.

  1. 1Read the result's title in Google. A viewer's name next to slot or casino words is a warning.
  2. 2Watch the address bar after you click. If the name changes several times, close the tab.
  3. 3Check the page language. A viewer you used in English shouldn't open in Indonesian.
  4. 4Look for the search box. A viewer without one isn't a viewer anymore.

These checks take seconds, and they work on any old bookmark.

What Reddit Shows About the Old Site

MyStalk had a following. In 2020, one Reddit community's weekly threads listed an "Anonymous Link" to an influencer's Instagram profile on mystalk.net.

That was the whole appeal. You could open a profile without your own account showing up anywhere.

I searched Reddit for the name on 30 October 2026. I found no recent threads about the redirect itself, so the Google suggestion above is the clearest public trace of it.

Other Viewers That Changed Address

MyStalk isn't the only viewer whose address moved on. But not every change ends badly.

Some viewer sites move to a new name on purpose and keep working. Our post on Picnob and Pixwox moving to Pixnoy covers one of those cases.

The difference is easy to see. A planned move keeps the same tool on the new page. MyStalk's address now shows a different business entirely.

Safer Habits for Any Story Viewer

A few habits keep you safe whichever viewer you use.

  1. 1Type the address yourself instead of trusting an old link.
  2. 2Never enter your Instagram password into a viewer.
  3. 3Block notification requests from viewer sites.
  4. 4Skip any viewer that wants an app install or a payment to show stories.

Viewer scams follow the same few tricks. Our guide to story viewer scams walks through them.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happened to MyStalk?

MyStalk's address, mystalk.net, got a new registration on 8 September 2023. By 21 September 2023, it showed an Indonesian slot gambling page. On 30 October 2026, it sent visitors through five redirects to a slot page.

Is mystalk.net safe?

It isn't the old viewer anymore, so there's no reason to visit. The address ends on a gambling page. Don't sign up, pay or install anything there, and delete old MyStalk bookmarks.

Why does MyStalk redirect to a casino?

The old registration ended and someone registered the address again in September 2023. Google's spam policies call this pattern expired domain abuse when it's done to game search rankings. Nothing public says who owns it now.

What is the best MyStalk alternative?

Any working web viewer for public stories covers what MyStalk did. Our Dumpor alternatives guide compares viewers that work without a login. None of them can show private accounts.

Can I still log in to my old MyStalk account?

No. The old site is gone, so its sign in form is gone too. If you reused your MyStalk password anywhere else, change it there.
